| Kinsale Bookshop is an independent long-established bookshop in the heart of the scenic coastal town of Kinsale. Situated on Main Street, just around the corner from the Bank of Ireland, in a distinctive premisis with low ceilings and wooden floors.
The Shop is run by Matthew Geden, a published poet, and a team of konwledgeable staff who are happy to track down any book still in print. Our staff read a wide range of books so please ask them for a recommendation or see our staff recommened section and brochure in the shop.
We specialise in Irish history, literature and gift books and also have extensive golf, sailing , fiction, mind, body, spirit and children’s sections. Other sections include crime fiction, with a shelf devoted to Irish crime writers, travel, biography, Science and naturally for a gourmet town, food and drink. We stock all the recent bestsellers and throughout the year offer special promotions on selected titles.
